Mr Randa was appointed to the Supervisory Board at the General Shareholders' Meeting in April 2006. He brings to the bank broad expertise in commercial banking as well as specific experience in cost management and M&A. Until last year, he was a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Currently, he is an Executive Vice President of Magna International Inc, Toronto.
Prior to his position at Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank, Mr Randa spent eight years at Bank Austria AG where he was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Managing Board. Mr Randa was Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Z-Länderbank Bank Austria AG and Chief Executive Officer at Österreichische Länderbank AG. From 1986-1988, he was a member of the Managing Board of Creditanstalt-Bankverein and from 1967-1985, he held several positions at Zentralparkasse und Kommerzialbank
