Gerard Cannie, AIIM ERM Master, has been a driving force in OIT's software development since 1996. Originally from Philadelphia, Cannie found his way to OIT's development team through Penn State's College of Engineering. In 2001, his skills were put to use as OIT's Director of Product Development. Today he serves as the company's Vice President of Technology and leads OIT's Development, Support and Quality Assurance departments.
Cannie is the original author of OIT's Workflow product and is an integral part of the company's workflow technology development. As such, he has worked very closely with many of OIT's multinational customers. Workflow has evolved over the years as a result of intensive interaction with customers. Cannie finds that "the needs of our current customer base are also the needs of new customers. This indicates that our future sales and successes are dependent on our ability to listen to our customers' needs. Recognizing that keeps us ahead." |
