Business Accomplishments Gerald Tucker combines the expertise of a Certified Public Accountant with that of a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), bringing Norman, Jones, Enlow & Co. clients over three decades of accounting and management consulting experience. As Chair of the Management Consulting Division, Tucker oversees a wide array of financial and management services, litigation support and strategic planning. His depth of experience and skill is further enhanced by his accreditation as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and as a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA).
Tucker holds a bachelorıs degree in Business Administration from Ohio University. He began his career in the Columbus office of Ernst & Young where he held supervisory audit responsibilities for clients in the health care, manufacturing, financial, quarrying, and retail industries. He supervised management consulting projects for health care and retail clients as well as gaining experience in corporate taxation, securities registration and 10-K filings.
Tucker then joined Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio in 1969 as Chief Financial Officer, managing all accounting, financial and investment aspects of the 313-bed regional hospital. From 1971 to 1983, Tucker was a partner in the firm of Lynch, Tucker & Associates, Inc. Tucker managed the firmıs auditing and management consulting practice. He served as Managing Partner from 1981 to 1983. His firm merged with the firm now known as Norman, Jones, Enlow & Co. in 1983.
Tucker has extensive experience in litigation services in settlement issues, deposition and expert witness testimony and as a litigation consultant. His experience includes business valuation, corporate lost profits, shareholder disputes, wrongful death and domestic relations.
He has presented seminars to client groups, chambers of commerce, attendees at firm-presented programs, continuing professional education and continuing legal education programs on strategic planning, succession planning, business valuation and business plan preparation.
Recognitions and Affiliations:Tucker is an active member of both the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also holds memberships in the Institute of Business Appraisers, the Institute of Management Consultants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Association of Merger & Acquisition Advisors and the International Business Brokers Association. Community Involvement Tucker presently is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Zanesville Art Center, the Board of Directors of Good Samaritan Medical Center, a member of the Finance and Business Plan Committee of Genesis Health Care Systems, a member of the Investment Committee of Genesis HealthCare System and the Board of Directors of Quality Care Partners, Inc. He is also a member of the Zanesville Rotary Club and the Zanesville High School Quarterback Club. |
