Gerald Laurita, Superintendent , has been with KEC since January of 2004. He is a seasoned electrical professional with experience as a General Foreman, Project Manager, Superintendent and Operations Director. At KEC, Gerry controls the field and production operations. His main focus is monitoring man-hours on the job and managing the placement of the 250 electricians. His experience and skills make Gerry a valuable asset to customers because of his abilities to value engineer projects. Gerry earned an Associate in Science Degree in Labor Management Relations at S.U.N.Y. Empire State College Center for Labor Studies. He has also completed courses toward a degree in Electrical & Electronic Technology at New York Institute of Technology. He is licensed by the Board of Education, City of New York, to teach electrical installation. Gerry is also actively involved in numerous electrical associations. He is a member of National Electrical Code Committee panel #4 and the Committee for Restructuring of NYC Electrical Code. Gerry serves as Chairman for the Apprentice Review Committee for IBEW Local Union #3. |
