Gerald W. McKenna (Jerry) is vice president strategic marketing for Cable One. He is responsible for the coordination and implementation of corporate marketing strategy and tactics for all Cable One systems and for programming contracts for the MSO. He is a member of the team that successfully launched digital cable TV and high speed Internet at Cable One.
Prior to joining Cable One in 1994, McKenna was with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, where he served in several senior marketing positions including vice president-sales promotion.
McKenna is a member of CTAM's Marketing Council and New Sales Channels Committee and a member of the board of directors for the National Cable Television Co-op.
McKenna was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1976, achieving the rank of captain. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Award for Outstanding Service. A native of West Islip, NY, McKenna earned a bachelor's degree in economics from St. Michael's College in Burlington, VT, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Virginia's Darden School. |
