Gerald S. Endler has more than 19 years of experience in a variety of matters pertaining to the energy and independent power industries. Mr. Endler has responsibility for all legal functions and activities for DTE Energy Services and its affiliates, DTE Coal Services and DTE Biomass Energy. In addition, to his legal responsibilities, Mr. Endler manages the technical and administrative services for DTE Energy Services.
As General Counsel, Mr. Endler is responsible for all of the legal aspects of DTE Energy Services', DTE Coal Services' and DTE Biomass Energy's businesses and manages the legal groups and all outside counsel relationships for those companies. He served as DTE Energy's representative on the Official Unsecured Creditors. Committees in the Bethlehem Steel and National Steel bankruptcy proceedings.
As Vice President of Technical and Administrative Services, Mr. Endler manages the Environmental, Engineering and Construction and the Facilities and Administration departments at DTE Energy Services. He is leading the formation of, and will manage, the Information Management department at DTE Energy Services.
Prior to joining DTE Energy Services, Mr. Endler held the position of Assistant General Counsel with U.S. Generating Company where he was lead legal counsel in numerous major transactions pertaining to the development, financing, construction and operation of electric generation projects. He was also lead legal counsel in several acquisitions and divestitures. Earlier in his career, Mr. Endler was an associate with two Washington DC law firms - Pepper, Hamilton & Scheetz and Wickwire, Gavin & Gibbs. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a certified public accountant with a regional accounting firm located in Southwest Virginia. |
