1994 - Present
Vice President, Buildings Division Manager, for JESCO, Construction-Engineering Division (Mississippi). Responsible for overall operations relative to the Buildings Group with annual sales in the $80-100 million range. Buildings Group concentrates on construction management, light-medium industrial projects, commercial, health care and institutional projects.
1981 - 1994
Manager of Estimating for JESCO, Construction-Engineering Division (Mississippi); promoted to Vice President, Estimating in 1988. Responsible for development of estimating department (including hiring and training of estimators and implementation of computer aided estimating system). Worked closely with marketing department with primary responsibility for developing design-build estimates and proposals. Reviewed all hard bid project estimates, specifications and contract language with project estimators prior to bid submittal.
1977 - 1981
Following receipt of B.S. Degree from Mississippi State University in May, 1977, was employed by JESCO, Inc. as estimator/project manager. Projects handled included banks, health service work, nursing homes, industrial plants, schools and detention facilities.
