Mr. Ford is the Chairman of the Board of First Acceptance Corporation (formerly Liberté Investors Inc.). Mr. Ford served as the Chairman of the Board and CEO of California Federal Bank a Federal Savings Bank from 1988 until its merger with Citigroup Inc. in 2002. Mr. Ford also serves as a director of McMoRan Exploration Co. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Ford also serves as a director of Scientific Games Corp. (SGMS) and is the principal shareholder and lead director of Affordable Residential Communities Inc. (ARC). Mr. Ford received his bachelor's degree in economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1966 and his Juris Doctor degree from SMU's School of Law in 1969. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Ford has been an FCX board member since 2000. |
