Gerry joined the Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Creditors’ Rights Group at Pryor Cashman as an associate in October 2005. He focuses in the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy reorganization and corporate restructuring. Gerry has experience representing debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees, indenture trustees, secured lenders, landlords and corporations in out-of-court restructurings.Gerry has most recently represented:
Indenture trustees in the Chapter 11 case of Calpine Corporation and the Chapter 7 case of American Business Financial Services
Unsecured creditors in the bankruptcy cases of Refco Inc. and Levitz Home Furnishings, Inc.
The Creditors’ committee in the Chapter 11 case of a prefabricated mobile home manufacturer and originator of sub-prime home mortgage loans
Gerry is a 1999 graduate of Brooklyn Law School where he was a member of the Journal of Law and Policy, publishing an article for the Journal and later serving as an Executive Notes and Comments Editor.
