George is Vice President / Regional Director of New Development. He joined Weingarten as a Vice President in March 2003 and was named Regional Director of Leasing in December 2003. He was responsible for approximately 72 shopping centers in the Texas Louisiana Arkansas Tennessee Mississippi and Kentucky area consisting of approximately 9 million square feet. In December 2005 he was named Regional Director of New Development. His region for New Development is Central/South Texas Arkansas and Louisiana.
Prior to joining Weingarten George served for 15 years as Executive Vice President and City Partner for Cencor Realty Services specializing in the development acquisition and management of retail shopping centers in Texas.
George is a graduate of the University of Texas where he obtained a BBA degree in Real Estate/Finance. He is an active member of ICSC and has 19 years of shopping center experience. |
