George Tuma joined LogLogic in 2006. Before joining LogLogic George was VP Engineering at Teneros, Inc., where George built and led a 55 person team to create a disruptive new category of messaging continuity product the Application Continuity Appliance for assuring high availability and disaster recovery of Microsoft Exchange. Prior to joining Teneros, George was VP Engineering at Solid Data Systems. His career has been focused on Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and Hierarchal Storage Management (HSM), with an emphasis on messaging software applications and market-leading storage technologies including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel and SCSI. George has delivered over $100MM of systems products to customers requiring "five nines" performance, including AT&T, Cingular, Logica, Nortel Networks, IBM Telcordia, Vodaphone, Nokia, Charles Schwab, and the US Department of Defense. George holds numerous patents in areas related to storage hardware and software: including five patents issued on Solid State Disk technology, four hardware patents pending on Fibre Channel and SAN technology, and software patents pending relative to Oracle and Microsoft Exchange. George received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University. |
