George has recently joined E. A. Hughes & Company as a Senior Consultant. His background consists of 30 years experience in the textile industry and other fashion related industries. He has spent his career in a wide range of management positions, from fiber to finished product, in the home fashions industry and industrial textile markets. His knowledge and dealings within the industry also include men's, women's and children's products. At Cotton Incorporated, George served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He also held various management positions at Dixie Yarns/Ticaro Knits, J.P. Stevens & Co., Dundee Mills and Springs Industries. George earned his B.S. from Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science (now Philadelphia University). He is a founding member of the New York Textile Group, formerly known as the New York Textile Board of Trade and been involved in various industry related committees
