George, a native of Lynchburg, Virginia., is active in both business and community activities and has served on boards such as the Virginia CCIM Chapter, Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce, James River Day School, Virginia Soft Drink Association, Mid-Atlantic Canners Association, Blue Ridge Lacrosse and is the western regional director for the Virginia CCIM Chapter. George began his real estate career in Atlanta, Georgia working for Richard Bower & Company, a commercial brokerage and management company. He has been involved in commercial real estate for 7 years. When George returned to Lynchburg, Virginia he began working with Milton Realty Service Company in 2002, where he was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute. A credential held by fewer than 10 percent of commercial real estate professional. In 2006 George was listed as one of the Top Producing Sale Professionals for Hall Associates. Milton Realty Service Company from Lynchburg, Virginia and Hall Associates, Inc. from Roanoke, Virginia merged in 2006 to better service the needs of our customers in southwest and central Virginia. George earned his BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University in 1984 then he went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from Lynchburg College. George specializes in retail sales and leasing and has been involved in numerous retail development projects in central and southwest localities throughout Virginia. He has also done extensive site selection throughout Virginia for Fortune 500 companies. |
