George Lipordezis joined Qmobile in 2003 and moved to the U.S. as the fourth employee and currently manages the network infrastructure, our SMS gateway, and connectivity to carriers and SMS aggregators. Before coming to the U.S. in 2000 George joined InternetQ in Greece where he built the network infrastructure of the leading web hosting company in Greece. Then, he built and launched the first mobile services for InternetQ in Greece. To accomplish this, he designed and implemented the carrier connectivity and billing integration systems. He was a key architect of InternetQ's network as the company grew beyond $20 million in revenues. He holds a BS with honors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Aston University in the United Kingdom. |
