George Hartley has spent more than 20 years developing innovative communications systems that have been deployed by major carriers as part of their service infrastructure. George joined Leapstone in July 2005 as Senior Director of Product Strategy and Management. Prior to joining Leapstone, he was Executive Director at Telcordia Technologies where he was responsible for building carrier-grade network systems for wireline and wireless carriers, including a globally deployed Real-Time Charging System and a Class 5 VoIP softswitch. During the 1990s, George led Telcordia's entry into the wireless carrier market with the development of a Wireless Intelligent Network Services platform and a Home Location Register (HLR). George started his career with Bellcore in 1986, where he was involved in the pioneering program to develop Intelligent Network and Advanced Intelligent Network solutions that serve as the basis for toll-free/"800" service throughout North America. George received a Bachelor's degree in mathematics at the University of Rochester and a Master's degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology. |
