Dr. Gorodeski is a gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, and Professor of Reproductive Biology at CASE (Case Western Reserve) University. He also holds professorships at CASE departments of Oncology, and Physiology and Biophysics. Dr. Gorodeski has been lead or co-investigator on over 40 basic science projects and FDA-approved clinical trials. He has written over 170 publications, including 95 peer-reviewed articles in his areas of research, as well as 5 patents filed. Dr. Gorodeski was the original developer and patented the Company's e Collector, the originator of combining multiple biomarkers into the "cocktail" approach for cervical cancer screening, and developer of the concept of mapping of cervical lesions. Dr. Gorodeski's academic career combines a busy clinical practice, active basic and clinical research, and professional service. Among his service responsibilities he serves as President for the North American Menopause Society (2005-2006), Chairperson of an NIH Study Section, and Chairman of the OB-GYN departmental Investigational Review Board.
