George represents employers and insurance companies in employment, tort and insurance litigation in state and federal court and before government agencies. He has extensive trial experience in complex, multiparty commercial and tort litigation, including claims fraud and coverage disputes, as well as the defense of malpractice claims against officers, directors, lawyers and design professionals. His employment litigation experience includes defense of the gamut of state and federal discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, and employment contract disputes, including non-competes. His tort litigation experience also includes defending manufacturers and sellers of automobile and truck parts, off-road and construction equipment, industrial machinery, small appliances, flammable fabrics, chemical and food products. George authored the Washington Civil Trial and Evidence Manual and is a frequent lecturer about evidence and trial techniques. He is the only Washington State lawyer chosen to appear in the current Euromoney Legal Group Guide to the World's Leading Insurance and Reinsurance Lawyers. George is also trained and frequently serves as a mediator and arbitrator in insurance, employment and tort cases.
