A Director since July 2003 Mr. Hager serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Genesis HealthCare. Prior to becoming CEO Mr. Hager was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for corporate finance information services reimbursement and risk management. He joined Genesis in 1992 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1994. Mr. Hager has over 20 years experience in the health care industry including leading KPMG LLP’s health care practice in Philadelphia and participation in the Philadelphia Board of Public Governance. Mr. Hager currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and finance committee of The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and member of the Board and strategic planning committee of the National Investment Center. Mr. Hager received his M.B.A. in Finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and his B.A. in Economics from Dickinson College and he is a certified public accountant. |
