George practices intellectual property and information technology law. He has appeared in federal and state courts on behalf of clients involved in patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright litigation. He also prosecutes patent and trademark applications for a wide range of publicly and privately-held domestic businesses, and for individuals. George represents clients negotiating or preparing intellectual property agreements, including assignment and license agreements. He further assists clients in negotiating and preparing information technology agreements such as software licenses, software development agreements and web site terms of use. George is an active member of the Ohio State Bar and Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Associations. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable Lesley Wells, U.S. District Court, before joining Calfee in 1999. George became a partner in the firm in 2008. |
