George Monroe Schumann is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Environmental Law and Insurance Coverage Litigation, with a particular emphasis in Employment and Labor Law. Mr. Schumann is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Supreme Court of West Virginia, Supreme Court of the United States, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is also a member of the Community Associations Institute and the Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schumann served in the United States Air Force as a Personnel and Recruiting Officer for 22 years, attaining the rank of Major. Mr. Schumann graduated from University of Arizona in 1967 with a B.S. in Business Administration; University of Oklahoma in 1976 with an M.A. in Economics; and Central Michigan University in 1978 with an M.S. in Management. He received his J.D. from University of Pittsburgh in 1984. Mr. Schumann is active in a number of charitable organizations as a fund raiser through participation in bicycling events. He also serves as a legal advisor to several condominium and homeowners' associations. |
