Mr. Lynn is a founding member of the firm and is the senior member of the firm's antitrust and trade regulation practice group. Mr. Lynn is also a member of the firm's commercial litigation practice group. Mr. Lynn has handled a large variety of federal and state antitrust cases, including cases involving Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act, and the Robinson-Patman Act, as well as state antitrust claims and business torts. He also provides antitrust counseling to businesses in a variety of industries on such issues as pricing, product distribution and relationships with customers and competitors. Additionally, Mr. Lynn has had a great deal of experience in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation involving such areas as dealer terminations, insurance defense, intellectual property, construction of interstate pipelines, consumer fraud, sale of businesses, and industrial espionage. Prior To Maynard Cooper:Following graduation from Princeton, Mr. Lynn served for three years in the U.S. Navy, including a tour in Vietnam. After graduating from law school, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Walter P. Gewin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Lynn was a partner at another large Birmingham, AL firm before founding Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. in 1984 with ten other partners. |
