Mr. Hansen is a specialist in structuring transactions and processes for managing risks. Particular areas of focus include complex insurance settlements for asbestos, pollution, and human health claims (APH), as well as risk transfer and transactions involving complex systems of assets. George has also assisted clients with major capital projects, developing web-enabled project management systems that integrate scheduling, cost-tracking/accounting, and forecasting. He has testified at trial and regularly presents his analyses in settlement conferences and executive briefings.
Prior to founding The Claro Group, George was a managing director in the Insurance Claims Group of LECG, LLC. Prior to joining LECG, George oversaw the Western US Financial Advisory Services consulting practice at Arthur Andersen, comprised of more than 20 partners and 300 professionals focused on insurance claims, intellectual property matters, litigation support, economic consulting, and strategic valuation services. George has also worked as a consulting environmental engineer.
George has an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering Science and Mechanics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. |
