Mr. Bell is vice president of corporate and president of CSC's European Group. As president of Europe, Mr. Bell is responsible for all private- and public-sector activities throughout Europe. Prior to assuming his new role on April 1, 2003, Mr. Bell was managing director and CEO of CSC's Australian Group.
Mr. Bell has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, including a number of executive management, marketing and general management positions. He joined CSC in Sept. 1998 to take on the challenge of spearheading the company's operations and growth in Australia. Mr. Bell started his career with IBM in England, and soon transferred to Australia. In addition to Europe and Australia, he has worked in the United States and Asia.
Born and raised in England, Mr. Bell holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He balanced his technical qualifications with a master's degree in business management from the Durham University Business School in the United Kingdom. |
