George E. Ruebenson is senior vice president for the Property-Casualty Claims Service Organization of Allstate Insurance Company and a member of Allstate’s senior management team. Ruebenson is also CEO of Sterling Collision Centers Inc., a network of auto repair facilities acquired by Allstate in 2001. Effective January 1, 2007, he will become president of Allstate Protection.
In his current role, he is responsible for the largest employee group at Allstate, overseeing 17,000 employees countrywide who handle more than six million claims on an annual basis.
Ruebenson joined Allstate in 1970 holding various positions in the company’s field and home offices. He became an Assistant Vice President in Corporate Finance in 1987. In 1990 Ruebenson became Vice President of Finance and Planning for the Business Insurance Division and worked in International Operations until 1995 when he was named Vice President, Personal Property. In 1997, Ruebenson became Vice President of Procurement Governance. In 2000, he was also named vice president for the Property-Casualty Claims Service Organization.
Ruebenson received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Bradley University in Business Administration in 1970. He has pursued post-graduate work in both Insurance and Finance in various prominent universities. Ruebenson serves on the boards of Bradley University and St. Laurence High School, as well as the Advisory Board of the Allstate Foundation's Teen Safe Driving Program. |
