George C. Seward is Senior Counsel to Seward & Kissel. He joined the firm in 1953. His principal interest is in business law. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia in 1933, Phi Beta Kappa, and an LL.B degree, Order of the Coif, in 1936.
Mr. Seward is Honorary Life President of the International Bar Association (London) and the founder and Honorary President of its Business Law group. Also, he is a former chairman of the American Bar Association Section on Business Law. He is a member of The American Law Institute and former president of The Arts & Sciences Council of the University of Virginia. |
