George Pecoulas focuses on representing commercial banks, issuers, underwriters and placement agents in structured securities offerings. He advises clients on their participation in the securitization of trade receivables and retail installment contracts, including auto loans and equipment loans, credit card receivables, equipment and vehicle leases, commercial loans, insurance premium finance contracts and intellectual property. His securitization experience also includes structuring single-seller and multi-seller commercial paper vehicles, owner trusts, master trusts, grantor trusts, and domestic special purpose corporation vehicles that can issue a variety of debt and equity securities.
Chambers USA (2007) quotes clients who call George "'a rigorous lawyer and effective negotiator.'" Chambers (2004-2005) previously noted, "Clients cite George Pecoulas' 'wealth of experience' reporting: 'He understands the business issues to get deals done.'" George joined Mayer Brown in 1990 after previously practicing for three years with another large firm in Chicago.
