Mr. Geoffrey Button is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an independent property developer and financier who resides in England. For more than 30 years, Mr. Button has been actively involved with commercial real estate in the UK, USA and Canada.
Mr. Button is currently leading a consortium to obtain planning permission and to develop over 2,000 houses and a 50 acre business park at North Weald Airfield, Essex as a director and shareholder of Belgravia Securities (North Weald) Ltd. which owns two aircraft maintenance companies operating from North Weald Airfield.
He recently led another consortium which obtained planning permission for residential development to provide over 700 apartments at Canning Town in the London Docklands.
From 1986 to 1995, Mr. Button was executive director of Wyndham Investments Limited, the property holding company of the Allied Domecq Pension Funds. Mr. Button set strategy and oversaw implementation for its UK , USA and Canadian property portfolios. Wyndham Investment Limited entered into a number of joint ventures with the Rotch Property Group and acquired trophy properties such as Sea Containers House, London and redeveloped the Cadby Hall Office complex at Hammersmith, London.
Mr. Button has been an unaffiliated director of Duke Realty since 1993. |
