Geoffrey M. Jones brings over fifteen years of accounting, compliance, and legal and investment experience to his position as Senior Vice President, General Counsel for KKR Strategic Capital funds. Prior to joining KKR Financial LLC, he was a Vice President at Mellon Global Alternative Investments, a division of Mellon Asset Servicing, responsible for a wide range of duties related to accounting, administration, compliance, performance reporting, and publication of audited financial statements in connection with more than $10 billion in alternative assets. Before that, Geoffrey was a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP in the Financial Advisory Services division, and held positions in a number of other firms including dealing with complex litigation issues for a boutique financial and consulting firm, Analysis Group, and serving as a corporate development business analyst at Brown-Forman Corporation (a large Fortune 750 branded beverage company), and positions at Winn Packaging Company, and Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, a law firm.
Geoffrey has a BA from Vanderbilt University in Economics, a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law, and an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst. |
