Professional Summary
Gayle Oshrin prepares employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, labor certification applications, family-based petitions, and adjustment of status applications for the firm’s varied clientele, which includes investors, law firms, and companies in the entertainment, financial, manufacturing, media and communications, banking, publishing and high technology industries, among others.
Practicing immigration law since 1998, Ms. Oshrin has litigated asylum, removal and deportations cases, appeared in federal court, and prepared asylum applications. She was formerly a Senior Diplomatic Legal Advisor for the New York City Commission for the United Nations, Consular Corps and Protocol.
In addition to her numerous current positions in professional organizations, she previously served as Vice-Chair of AILA’s national YLD Steering Committee (2003-2004); Co-Chair of AILA’s New York Chapter Department of Labor Liaison Committee (2003-2004) and the Chair of YLD of the New York Chapter of AILA (1999-2002). Ms. Oshrin also lectures nationally on the subject of immigration law.
