As Vice President and Corporate Controller, Gary Klonowski is responsible for the day to day operations of the accounting department to ensure the company is maximizing its financial results. His goals include enhancing the financial reporting and auditing functions of the company, continue to provide support to our field operations and to make sure the accounting team is running side by side with our acquisitions and development team. Prior to joining Brandywine Senior Living, Mr. Klonowski was the Corporate Controller at Senior Lifestyle Corporation (SLC), an owner and operator of a national portfolio of senior housing. While at SLC, Mr. Klonowski worked under Brandywine’s current CFO, Malcolm Lambe. Prior to SLC, Gary was the Divisional Controller of a manufacturing company located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. Klonowski also spent over 14 years at Heller Financial, Inc. in a variety of high-level finance positions, including Director of Finance for Heller's Global Vendor Finance, Small Business Finance and Corporate Finance Groups. He was also Finance Officer for four years in the Heller International Group. Other positions at Heller included two years as the Manager of Heller's Internal Reporting Department; one year in Budgets and Forecast; and more than three years as a Senior Auditor of the Corporate Finance Group. Before working at Heller, Gary was an auditor with Bank of America's asset-based lending division for two years. Gary graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
