Gary P. Golding is a general partner with Edison Venture Fund, and has been a venture capitalist for 13 years. Golding has been responsible for the origination of 18 investments financed during that period and has served as a director of 11 companies. Golding concentrates his investment activities on business process software, communications technology and electronics companies. Before joining Edison in November 1997, Golding was with CEO Venture Fund, and was general partner and chief operating officer of CEO Venture Fund II. Golding serves on the Advisory Board of the George Washington University Graduate School of Business. He previously served on the Governor's Venture Capital Roundtable for the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Entrepreneurial Advisory Council of the Pennsylvania Securities Commission and was President of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association. He is a frequent speaker at entrepreneurial events and financing seminars. Golding earned a bachelor's of science in management science from Boston College. He also received a master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
