Gary Florindo
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
As President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Florindo is responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth and management of Lightspace. Mr. Florindo joined Lightspace at the beginning of 2004 as the company’s Vice President of Sales, in which capacity he led the development and execution of the company’s sales strategy, tripled revenue from 2004 to 2005, and took the company to the international marketplace. As a result of Mr. Florindo’s accomplishments he was appointed CEO in 2006. Since Mr. Florindo’s appointment he has successfully secured over $10M in financing, brought Lightspace public through an IPO in late 2006, and advanced the product line, revenue and overall performance of the company.
With more than ten years of corporate management experience, Mr. Florindo is a seasoned entrepreneur with a proven record in helping computer software and hardware, networking, professional services and infrastructure management companies achieve their business objectives.
Prior to joining Lightspace®, Mr. Florindo held senior positions with numerous top tier technology outsourcing firms including Digex, Cable & Wireless (Exodus), and PSINet, where he was credited for his superior business development skills and for building and developing strategic channel partnerships. While at PSINet, Mr. Florindo was recruited by Digex where he was charged with driving the company’s national account efforts. Relying on his strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial instincts, Mr. Florindo secured and managed some of Digex’s largest customers in both the SME and Fortune 500 Markets. |
