Gary Ebeltoft has been a member of the Ellis Hospital Board of Trustees since June 2004. Mr. Ebeltoft is currently employed by National Union Bank of Kinderhook, Kinderhook, NY, where he oversees the Internal Audit function.
Prior to joining National Union Bank, Mr. Ebeltoft was Vice President of Finance at The Graduate College of Union University, Schenectady, NY and was responsible for overseeing the accounting/finance areas of the college. Mr. Ebeltoft also served as the Vice President and Auditor for the Troy Savings Bank in Troy, NY, responsible for re-establishing an Internal Audit Department, hiring professional staff and developing a comprehensive audit plan. Mr. Ebeltoft had worked at the Troy Saving Bank since 1985 where he previously held the positions of Vice President and Director of Planning, and Vice President of Systems and Operations.
Mr. Ebeltoft earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, and his M.B.A. from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He is a Certified Financial Services Auditor, a Certified Risk Professional, and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. |
