Gary Eaton, C.P., P.L.S., is a senior vice president of Sanborn responsible for managing the Charlotte office.

A member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), Mr. Eaton brings nearly 30 years of mapping and surveying experience to Sanborn. His thorough knowledge covers all phases of mapping, from airborne GPS aerial photography and surveying to photogrammetry, including analytical aerial triangulation, DTM collection, topographic mapping, and digital orthophoto imagery.

A professional land surveyor since 1978 and a certified photogrammetrist since 1981, Mr. Eaton has managed digital mapping projects for highway design, utility companies, government agencies, municipalities, counties, private consortiums, and engineering firms. Additionally, Mr. Eaton has been called upon to give expert testimony for court cases, the most recent of which involved surveying and mapping a Superfund cleanup site.

Prior to joining Sanborn in 2000, Mr. Eaton was executive vice president of Aero-Dynamics Corp., an aerial photography and mapping company he joined in 1999. Sanborn acquired Aero-Dynamics Corp. in 2000.

Mr. Eaton is a licensed professional land surveyor in the states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
