Gary has been active as a professional recruiter since October, 1985. Prior to signing on with Beck/Eastwood, Gary was a Business Analyst with Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, following his Summa Cum Laude degree in English with Honors from California State University, Northridge, 1984. Also active in manufacturing with companies such as Applied Research Laboratories (Spectroanalytical Equipment) and USX (formerly US Steel), Gary began his recruiting career assisting companies in manufacturing management, financial and technical sales recruiting. As the manufacturing landscape changed in the Nineties, Gary moved to more sales, marketing and management search. In 1990 Gary became a member of the NPA Sales/Net Committee, accepting Chairmanship of Sales/Net in 1992. Elected to NPA's Board of Directors in 1994, he served as Western Regional Vice President to 1999. While still Chairing NPA Sales/Net, Gary has re-dedicated himself to recruitment of Purchasing, Logistics, General Managers, Operations Managers and Supply Chain specialists. The wealth of opportunities for the recruitment of modern supply chain solutions specialists is still a hot area for targeted recruitment. Being a published author and dedicated student of sales/marketing methodology, Gary has been published widely in NPA related publications, portions of his sales training book 'Best Seller' have been published in Master Salesmanship newsletter. His second book, 'Rule of 3's' is in process. As a professional composer and songwriter, Gary has co-written, produced and performed on a pop/rock album 'Love & Death' by 7YEARS EARLY, as well as composing a soundtrack for a UCLA documentary film, 'Mochica' (1984). Dedicated to pushing the state-of-the-art in modern sales methodology, Gary cites Miller Heiman, Jay Abraham and Jay Conrad Levinson as influences in the field of sales, marketing training. Gary is the author of several Beck/Eastwood White Papers, such as 'Pillars of a Successful Interview', 'Identifying, Attracting and Recruiting 'Eagles' in a Field of Turkeys' and 'The New Reality'.
