As Non-Executive Chairman of mBlox, Gary maintains relationships with mBlox’s external shareholders and provides operational guidance as the company continues to expand. He brings over 30 years of telecommunications experience to mBlox.Before joining mBlox Gary was CEO of ATG, a large fixed-line telephone company and CEO of LHS, a NASDAQ-listed supplier of billing systems to mobile operators. Gary also spent 27 years at Pacific Bell where he held numerous positions within the company’s US and European divisions. He has also held roles as COO of Belgacom Mobile, an Airtouch Intl. subsidiary in Belgium and Vice President of Airtouch Europe, PacBell’s mobile operator business. During his tenure at PacBell Gary left to become the COO of Omnipoint, which later became a part of T-Mobile US, before returning to assume the position of President of Airtouch Paging.Gary held an advisory position with mBlox for nearly one year before officially joining the mBlox team in 2004. Cuccio also serves as Executive Chairman of Openet Software, an IP mediation software provider based in Ireland.Gary has AMP from Harvard, an MBA from St. Mary’s College (CA) and a BA from CSULA. |
