Prior to joining Gramercy Gary Buttsworth had been engaged by British Telecom Plc (BT) to lead a New Ventures Programme in the United Kingdom. During this time he was tasked with developing ideas and business ventures to kick start revenue growth for BT. This program resulted in the establishment of several new businesses n the consumer markets for BT. Prior to this Gary had been a leader in establishing several business ventures in Australia that have become successful either in their own right or as a part of larger organizations. These ventures have all been in the Telecommunications & Information Technology industry in Australia and in the UK over a career spanning 25 years. Gary’s experience encompasses executive roles with large organizations such as Telstra and Computer Power Group alongside extensive experience in early stage and start-up businesses. Gary founded several successful businesses in his career and has successfully led those businesses. Gary’s achievements have been founded on excellent General Management skills strong sales experience and an aptitude for understanding technology and the challenges in delivering commercial success from it. Gary was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mitchell University in 1981 and in 1987 undertook further study with a Diploma in Effective Logistics Management at the University of New South Wales. |
