Lion Dr. Gary Anderson has been a member of the Grand Rapids Lions Club for over 25 years. After graduating from Augustana College in 1975 and the Illinois College of Optometry in 1979, he started a private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Michigan Optometric Association, and the West Michigan Optometric Association. Dr. Anderson has been honored with several awards for his work in Lionism including the Lions International President Recognition Certificate, Welcome homes Service Award - 1990, Grand Rapids Lions Lifetime Achievement Award - 1997, and the Lions of Michigan Service Foundation - Humanitarian Award - 1998. |
