Gary Lauer has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since December 1999 and as Chairman of our Board of Directors since March 2002. Since Mr. Lauer joined the company eHealth has become the leading online source of health insurance for individuals families and small businesses. Prior to joining eHealth Mr. Lauer was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MetaCreations Corporation. Prior to MetaCreations Mr. Lauer spent more than nine years at Silicon Graphics Inc. a computing technology company where he was a member of the senior executive team that grew Silicon Graphics from approximately $100 million to $3.5 billion in revenue. Mr. Lauer started his career with IBM where he held a variety of sales and marketing management positions. Mr. Lauer holds a B.S. degree in finance and marketing from the University of Southern California Business School. |
