He was elected President of the Association of State Democratic Chairs and Vice-Chair of the Democratic National Committee from 1997 to 1998.Mr. LaPaille has played an active role with the Democratic National Committee, where he served as Vice Chairman of the Business Council. He continues to advise and assist various Presidential, Senatorial, Congressional, Gubernatorial and Mayoral campaigns throughout the U.S.As Host State Chairman for the 1996 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Mr. LaPaille was involved in all aspects of a successful convention and the re-nomination of President Clinton and Vice President Gore. He served on the Democratic National Convention Site Committees for over a decade.Mr. LaPaille is a Corporate Fellow of the National Governor’s Association. Also, Mr. LaPaille holds memberships with the Republican and Democratic Governor’s Associations, Senate and House Campaign Committees of both parties and both National Committees.Born and raised in Chicago, Mr. LaPaille graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a B.B.A. in Finance. He resides in Potomac, MD with his wife Christine and their three children. |
