Gary Refinski is executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of Metavante Corporation, a position to which he was appointed in July, 2007. He is responsible for operations and service delivery, including production and network operations, technical support, technology infrastructure, and corporate systems. In addition, Refinski oversees consulting and implementation services, integration, Lending Solutions and Risk and Compliance Solutions divisions.Refinski has been with Metavante since 1983, beginning his career as a development programmer. He has held a variety of management positions during his tenure at Metavante both in the development and sales support areas.Refinski has a bachelor's degree in management information systems and business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He has also attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Kellogg Executive Management Program at Northwestern University. |
