Mr. Brukardt has over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Gary is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Specialty Care Services Group and a member manager of the Board of Managers of Specialty Care Services Group, LLC. SCSG’s business objective is to develop, acquire, and operate a diversified portfolio of businesses in healthcare services.
Prior to forming SCSG, Gary was President and Chief Executive Officer of Renal Care Group (NYSE:RCI), providing dialysis services in a 34-state network. RCG was sold to Fresenius Medical Care in March 2006. Following this transaction, Mr. Brukardt held the position of vice chairman, Fresenius Medical Care North America and CEO, Global Disease Management/Ambulatory Services until September 2006. He is currently serving as a consultant to FMC. Mr. Brukardt was executive vice president and COO of RCI from 1996-2003. From 1991-1996, he was executive vice president of Baptist Health Care Affiliates, a company that provided occupational medical centres/programs, urgent care, home healthcare, managed care, corporate health services, management of hospitals and hospital joint ventures, and an ambulatory surgery centre. From 1991-1996, he was chairman of HealthNet Management, Inc., a managed care company.
Mr. Brukardt also serves on various boards and committees internationally, nationally, and locally. Gary received a B. A. in International Studies in 1971 from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and a Masters of Business Administration in International Management from Thunderbird, the School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona in 1972. |
