Garry Lavold, age 61, is President and Chief Operating Officer of PetroHunter Energy Corporation. Mr. Lavold has 30 years of oil and gas development, including start up and operations of an 80,000 BPD refinery for Gulf Oil. He was Vice President for design, construction and project management of large diameter gas pipelines for Nova, now TransCanada Pipelines, and East Coast Canada offshore supply vessel operations as President of an international supply vessel company. Mr. Lavold was the chief operating officer of BioComposites International from January 2003 to July 2005, where he assisted in the development of biocomposite plants to produce composite materials. Previously Mr. Lavold was managing pipeline projects in California for ARB construction. Mr. Lavold received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Alberta, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta and Ontario, Canada. |
