Ms. Asper is Corporate Secretary of the Company and President of the CanWest Global Foundation. She has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1990
Ms. Asper a lawyer has been with the Company since 1989 serving as General Counsel until 1998 and as Corporate Counsel since 1990. While her primary responsibilities relate directly to the Company's Board of Directors she is also President of the CanWest Global Charitable Foundation and chairs the Company's Community Support Committee. Ms. Asper also serves on the Company's Board of Directors. She is the recipient of the 2002 Volunteer Centre of Winnipeg Award for Outstanding Community Leadership. |
