Dr. Wilensky has served as a director of the Company since March 2000, as a member of the Clinical Quality Committee of the Board since May 2003 and as a member of the Compensation, Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee since May 2007. She was a member of the Audit Committee from March 2000 to February 2003. Since 1993, she has been a senior fellow at Project HOPE, an international health foundation, and since October 2004, she has been vice chair of the Maryland Healthcare Commission. Dr. Wilensky, who has led two federal commissions on health issues, served from 1990 to 1992 as administrator of the U.S. Health Care Financing Administration and from 1992 to 1993 as deputy assistant for policy development to President George H. Bush. She is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine, a trustee of the Combined Benefits Fund of the United Mineworkers of America and the American Heart Association, and an advisor to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The Commonwealth Fund. Dr. Wilensky is a director and member of the audit committee of Cephalon, Inc., a director and member of the quality and governance committees of Manor Care, Inc., a director and member of the quality/compliance and governance committees of Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, a director and member of the compensation committee of SRA International, Inc. and a director and member of the compliance committee of UnitedHealth Group Incorporated. |
