She joined the firm in 2003.Experience Gail began her actuarial career in 1976 and her consulting career in 1985. During her career, Gail has had direct responsibilities in both insurance company operations and consulting in the following areas: Due diligence reviews associated with mergers and acquisitions Financial analysis of risk financing alternatives, including self-insured and captive insured programs Insurance company and reinsurance company valuations Ratemaking and loss reserve analysis Operational reviews of insurers and reinsurers Studies for non-insurance companies on the feasibility of entering the property and casualty insurance markets Prior to joining Milliman, Gail spent eight years as a vice president of Am-Re Consultants, where she led the mergers and acquisitions and actuarial practices. Prior to joining Am-Re Consultants, Gail was a principal and consulting actuary for Tillinghast/Towers Perrin. During her 10 years with Tillinghast, she acted as a team leader in the professional liability practice. Before joining Tillinghast, Gail was an assistant actuary with Travelers Insurance Company for 10 years, where her responsibilities included ratemaking and reserving for major property and casualty lines of business.
