Ms. Schweitzer has 18 years experience in managed care programs and 20 years experience in the healthcare industry serving in administrative hospital management, which included working closely with the Hospital's Board of Directors. Ms. Schweitzer serves as Preceptor for Xavier University MHA students doing their residency program at IMCS.
Ms. Schweitzer has assisted in Independent Physicians Association (IPA) development. In this capacity, she has dealt with both fee-for-service and capitated plans. Ms. Schweitzer's experience also includes PPO and PHO development. Her strengths are in development and management of physician organizations. Ms. Schweitzer has represented multispecialty groups in contract negotiations with third party payors. The success of such negotiations has resulted in the strong financial viability of the physician organizations represented.
Ms. Schweitzer has provided the vision, structure and leadership in the creation and development of S&S HealthCare Strategies. Through her experience with IPA’s, PHO’s, and PPO’s she found that many TPA’s and their system were unable to meet the needs of provider sponsored networks and many commercial clients. She has continued to develop and grow S&S through the changing needs of both provider sponsored plans and commercial clients in service, reporting, technology, and benefit administration. |
