Gabriele Staples joined Taconic in May 2006, bringing with her over ten years of experience in consultative sales within the lab animal resources business. Combining a background in project coordination and technical training with a BA and MBA (emphasis in Finance), Gabriele found long ago that she fit quite naturally into the sales arena. For her, this has ranged from creation and training of product distribution teams around the world to advising small biotechs on the best approach to their unique In Vivo experiments. She finds great enjoyment in identifying and gathering resources needed to support research needs, and currently uses these skills in her role as the Senior Account Manager for Merck & Company. In this role, she is able to work directly with LAR and individual researchers on their animal, breeding and In Vivo services needs. Gabriele, a native of Germany, has made her home in Southern Maine.
