Mr. Marinaro is an associate in the Employee Benefits Practice Group. Mr. Marinaro's practice concentrates on all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation.
Mr. Marinaro's experience in employee benefits includes:
Drafting or advising on qualified pension and profit-sharing plans, ESOPs, cash or deferred arrangements, health and welfare benefit plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, and
Advising on fiduciary and prohibited transaction issues, including plan investment issues in the context of asset pool investment trusts
Mr. Marinaro's experience in executive compensation includes:
Drafting or advising on equity compensation plans,
Drafting or advising on employment agreements and severance agreements, and
Advising on securities issues affecting equity compensation plans and the disclosure of executive compensation arrangements in securities filings
Before joining Dykema, Mr. Marinaro practiced employee benefits law for a large law firm in New York and prior to that a boutique benefits law firm in Washington, D.C.
While at Georgetown University Law Center, Mr. Marinaro earned an LL.M. in Taxation and a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law.
