As co-founder of SoftConnect, Mr. Gabriel takes a personal role in helping clients leverage new technologies to create positive business change. Aside from managing the growth of the company, he oversees the quality of technology solutions that SoftConnect implements and ensures their timely and effective delivery. As an accomplished consulting and management executive, Mr. Gabriel is experienced in building and leading technology services firms that cater to Global 1000 clients.
Before SoftConnect, Mr. Gabriel was a Director in the eCommerce practice of answerthink, a leading global provider of eBusiness service solutions. He was responsible for delivering next-generation e-business solutions that resulted in high-value, measurable business results. As a Sr. Project Director at Thomson Technology Consulting Group, Mr. Gabriel played a significant role in restructuring the firm's New York office to a $14 million practice that supported the needs of the financial services and publishing market place. He developed vertical strategies, managed project teams, and advised clients on architecture. At General Electric Information Services he worked with the sales and business operation teams, providing pre and post sales technology support to a globally distributed client base and sales force, leveraging GE's business and technology solutions.
Prior to GE, Mr. Gabriel held several technical, management consulting and client engagement positions with Parsons Brinckerhoff, IBM, and Vera Institute of Justice, to name a few.
Mr. Gabriel received his Master's degree in Computer Science and his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University in New York. |
